The room was roomy and the price was cheap, so it could work for a backpacker. There are food stalls and a mini market nearby in Nagoya. But there were lots of tiny cockroaches, and sometimes the hot water didn't work. No elevator, and breakfast options were limited to fried rice and fried noodles or beehoon.

This is a sleazy hotel in Nagoya's red-light district in Batam. The rooms have cable TV, air conditioning, lamps and amenities, plus audio to get your adrenaline up, with disco house .mp3 songs installed. At night, people outside come with girls to check in. If that's the kind of scene you're used to, good luck with it. Free breakfast is served too.
