It's an old hotel, but you can tell they're doing their best to look after it. I noticed the effort in the staff, the smell of the hotel and the room quality. The pool and breakfast were good, and I loved the location, with lots of eateries and convenience stores within walking distance. The road to get there is confusing, but it gets easier once you understand where the hotel is. Thanks to the staff for giving me a great stay.

The buffet deserves a mention for its Carrot Cake, you have to try it (Frieren journey end season 2 ep 5). The hotel is very close to the Jetty, and the service was great overall. The children's playroom was superb, and my daughter had a great time there.

The team are welcoming and helpful, and the hotel is clean. The rooms are a bit old, so don't expect too much from them. It's somewhat away from the city area, but well connected to the upcoming Bengkong area, with lots of places to eat, sightseeing spots and activities like go-carting and a ferry wheel.

Golden View Hotel was a great place to stay in Batam. We had a comfortable time in spacious, clean rooms, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool, spa and shuttle service to nearby malls were good additions. Golden City is easy to reach for activities including go-karting, ATV and paintball. A relaxing stay with things to do close by, whether you're with family or friends.

The hotel is right next to golden prawn 933 seafood. The room was large, partly because of its somewhat old-fashioned design. I stayed three days and two nights, but there were no TV channels for two days. I called customer service and couldn't get an answer.
