I Hotel Baloi Batam

We could leave our luggage after checkout, and the timing was very flexible, which made things easy for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we found a good range of food. When we ran out of shampoo and body wash, the front desk quickly sent more and even added extra. The service was thoughtful and efficient. I Hotel Baloi is in a handy spot, with shopping malls across the road, massage places a few minutes away on foot, and A2 Food Court right next door. We had a great stay and would come back.

The spa team managed several changes to times, treatments, and therapist requests smoothly. Agnes at reception explained everything clearly and made sure we got what we needed. At the hotel, Mr. Rizki greeted us with such positive energy and personally walked us to the spa to make sure our bookings were arranged. We were eight siblings returning to Batam after 20 years, and stayed at I Hotel Baloi for two nights. Mr. Azlan, the e-commerce manager, was diligent and helpful from the original booking through last-minute ferry ticket changes. It made the whole process easy. A memorable visit, and highly recommended for Batam.

Our corner room was impressively spacious, and the staff made our anniversary night feel special with a lovely swan made from towels and a complimentary cake. We stayed one night and had a wonderful time. Two major malls and A2 Food Court, with its great local food, are within walking distance. We'll definitely return on our next trip.

There are two malls near the hotel, plus a row of night stalls along the road, a bit like a pasar malam. Check whether food is Halal before buying. Domino's pizza is just around the corner. The gym and pool are on level 5, and I think there's a spa or massage place on level 3. The hotel is decent, with friendly staff and a spacious room. Breakfast was decent too, though watch out for a shower that might not get hot.
