The bathroom floor was slippery and soapy, with yellowish stains, and it didn't feel hygienic. That added to an already awful stay. My family of 8 came here, and 5 of us got severe food poisoning after breakfast. Breakfast was the only meal those five had in common that day. They were vomiting from morning until evening and became too weak to travel. Milk seemed the most likely cause to us because it was the one thing all five had consumed. The hotel said the milk was fresh and denied that breakfast could have caused it, but five people in the same group getting sick soon after eating there is hard to overlook. We asked the reception staff for medical help, but they sent us to a clinic that was already closed. We lost valuable time getting there while our family members were unwell. Staff were dismissive and didn't help us find another clinic. We had to postpone our ferry tickets and stay an extra night, which meant more cost and hassle. Only after we came back from the doctor and argued repeatedly did the hotel agree to provide an extra bed for our sick family member, who was too weak to travel to the ferry terminal. What should've been a relaxing trip turned stressful because of the way a serious situation was handled. Mistakes happen, but the lack of empathy, accountability, and help was unacceptable. This is easily the worst 3-star hotel experience I've had. I won't return and can't recommend it.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my two-night stay, and the location made things easy. There's a café right beside the entrance where showing your hotel card gets you 10% off food, and an Alfamart next door that stays open until 10pm WIB for snacks or drinks. Grand Batam Mall is walkable, especially in the cooler evening weather. My room was clean enough, though I spotted a few stains on the wall and bedsheet. I still slept well both nights. The air conditioning worked really well, which was a relief in Batam's heat. I'd stay again for the convenient spot and friendly service.

The rooftop view was amazing, and the staff were wonderful. My room was nice and cleaned regularly, with great water pressure. The location is convenient for getting a Grab around the area, though there's road noise from the busy street. The doors are loud when opening and closing.

The room was spacious and affordable, and the staff were really nice and friendly. The bed and sheets were clean and comfortable. I'll come back on my next vacation in Batam, and bring my family next time, yayyy!!!

The staff were really polite and nice. The location is a little hard to reach, though you can walk around the city easily. The rooms seemed clean from the outside and were nice, but cigarette smoke was everywhere, including outside the room. Since people can smoke inside, all our clothes ended up smelling of cigarettes too. Other than that, it was a very nice place!
