There's a 24-hour mart below the apartment, and it's close to both the ferry terminal and a shopping centre. The gym and pool were okay, but the toilet smelled like sewage and management needs to look into it. The TV didn't work. Just an average stay.

The location and sea view were good, and the people returned our deposit quickly after checkout. But the check-in hassle wasn't worth it. There was no one in person, and all communication was by WhatsApp message, with no phone calls. I also had to transfer a deposit online through a link. When I arrived, I found out I'd need to climb a three-step wheeled ladder to get the room key from a lockbox. That cost me over 40 minutes. Our two-bedroom sea-view room on level 27 had black ants everywhere. The bathroom towel hanger was flimsy, with nails sticking out, and a bathroom cupboard door was broken. There were only two coffee sachets for three people staying two nights. I decided not to stay the second night. At the adjoining Harris Hotel, I booked on the spot and checked in within 10 minutes, for a lower price and with a proper hotel experience. Save yourself the stress and stay there.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed at in Batam. Check-in took far too long, and they only contacted me through WhatsApp. There was nobody there in person to help me check in. Customer service needs to improve.
