The location is the strongest point, but I'd only stay one night and wouldn't recommend it for longer. The room looked refurbished and was spacious, yet it was dusty and poorly kept. The linens were worn, soft, and flimsy, and there was a smell in the toilet. There aren't any outlets by the bed. There's just one universal plug at the dressing table and one at the coffee table.

I couldn't sleep comfortably because the room had poor ventilation and the air conditioning wasn't good. The bathroom had a slight musty smell too. Housekeeping hadn't been done even though guests could check in. For a place calling itself a 4-star hotel, it felt more like a 2-star one.

The security staff at the entrances were alert and polite, and the staff spoke English well. The second floor connects directly to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall, which is handy even in the rain. The room had a traditional "atas" hotel feel, with disposable toiletries provided. There was no charging point beside the bed, so I had to use the one at the table and another at the minibar.

Nini at the front desk helped make my mum's birthday feel extra special. On my first check-in day, Friday 26/9, I mentioned the birthday and asked whether they could arrange a surprise setup. It was last minute, but she didn't turn me down. She checked with the team and managed to organize it. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and effort, and I'd happily recommend the hotel to friends and family.

I won't stay there again. The sheets were clearly unclean, the pillows smelled, and the towels were kind of grey. I slept badly because my body was itchy. I thought it might just be me, but my friend in the other room felt itchy too. This hotel really needs proper cleaning.
