The location was good value for money, with a small range of breakfast included. Ryan looked after us really well. Rooms were very clean, and they'd clean them and change towels if you asked. Soap and toiletries were provided, along with complimentary welcome drinks. The pool gets cleaned every morning. Don't believe the other bad comments, this place is very well run.

As a solo woman, I felt really safe here, and the staff made sure guests were comfortable and happy. Eddy and the team were helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Their communication was great, from clear directions to courtesy WhatsApp messages. The breakfast was excellent: a mixed omelette, baked beans, toast, orange juice, and strong Lombok coffee. The aircon was strong and generally reliable, and the pool was a nice extra. It's conveniently set between the two beaches, with plenty of good restaurants a short walk away. With the extreme weather in Bali, flooded streets, nonstop rain, and heavy wind, getting to Padang Bai and catching a boat was impossible. It also seemed extremely irresponsible to travel by boat in those conditions, especially since people have died on these boats before. I booked a room for a week, explained the situation, and kindly asked the accommodation to cancel and refund me. They refused, even though the advice across Bali was to stay inside and be safe. They offered to change the dates, but nobody knows when the rain will stop, and they wanted me to pay 50% more. I've never experienced this before. A refund would've been more than polite. One star for this accommodation.

The staff at Cape Rose were the sweetest, so welcoming and helpful. We had an amazing stay. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the hotel is close to the beach and not far from the harbor. Would recommend it 100%!
