The café served good food and stayed open till midnight. Our cottage had all the amenities we needed, including hot water, though the toilet flush could use some maintenance. We also had a lovely anniversary bed decoration, which made the stay feel special. The room was spacious and fairly clean, with a stunning view of the sea and Barelang Bridge. The balcony could use a thorough clean now and then. It was peaceful overall, but loud music from another guest event at the beach club disturbed the quiet a bit. Most of the staff were friendly, though there was one unprofessional moment at the café. Some parts of the resort were being renovated, and I imagine things will be even better when that work is done. The service was good overall, and it was definitely worth the price. Thanks so much, Nipah Island Resort team 🙏

The staff were very kind, and it’s a lovely place for an adventurous stay, with a nice step up in comfort. Just keep in mind it’s on a small island, where the plumbing may feel a bit dated. The doors don’t close completely, so mosquitoes sometimes get inside. The location is great.
The staff were hospitable, and the price was affordable. The view of the Barelang Bridge is exclusive, and it’s a nice place. I booked a double room but got a twin instead. When I asked to switch, the other room wasn’t ready. The floor was dusty and there was a spider trap on the ceiling, so I asked the cleaner to mop and clean again. They responded quickly, and the room was better afterward. I guess the superior room doesn’t get many visitors. I’d recommend booking a cottage instead, for a cleaner space and full wallpaper on the walls.
A peaceful place to chill, with a view overlooking the iconic balerang bridge. There’s a restobar and cafe, and breakfast is free. Recommended.
It’s a long drive from Nagoya, but getting there by car wasn’t bad. I stayed three nights at this good little resort. The seafood was good and super cheap, and the food service was the fastest I’ve ever experienced. The staff were ultra friendly, went out of their way to help make things better, and loved chatting. I was actually impressed.
