The room felt clean and modern, like the building might be new. Breakfast was okay, and it's included, so the stay still felt like good value on a budget. There's a convenience store across the street, and a taxi to Hang Nadim Airport costs 50,000 rupiah.

Breakfast was fantastic both times I've stayed, and the food still suits my palate. It's probably the closest hotel to Batam airport, too. We did pick a room without windows by mistake, but luckily we were only there for one night. The price now feels a bit high for a hotel of this star rating.

Botania is just five minutes away, with a fresh food market, KFC, a pizza place, barber shops, and good value phone sales and repairs. Batam Centre is about 15 minutes away, while Nagoya takes around 30, depending on traffic. The hotel is also close to Batam airport and can arrange pickup from the airport or ferry terminals if you ask. I've stayed here a couple of times and enjoyed both visits. The staff and management are friendly and speak reasonably good English. They have smoking and non-smoking rooms, a bar and restaurant, usually free breakfast included in the price, and a small room service menu. The beds are comfortable, there's a good choice of cable TV, the shower gets hot, and rooms are cleaned daily. I'll definitely come back.

At just 18 USD a night, it was clean, affordable, and had nice facilities. Hang Nadim Airport is very close, around a 10-minute drive.

There are plenty of nearby local food places, and I found their food really tasty. The hotel is comfortable and conveniently close to the airport.
