The location is excellent and the hotel feels like great value for money. Staff were warm, welcoming, and fantastic, especially Yessi. The room was spacious with good aircon, and there’s a professional massage room on the second floor. Buffet breakfast was decent. Hope I can come back.

The room was filthy. There was shit on the toilet seat, the sheets, blanket, and towers were dirty, and I found a cockroach. There was no hot water in the shower or for cup noodles, and no shampoo or body foam. The aircon took 3 to 4 hours before I could feel it. At night I could hear showers from other rooms, then lots of motorcycles revving from 3am onwards. Breakfast was terrible, and some receptionists had a hard time understanding English. I don’t know how the reviews are so high. Please don’t be fooled by them. I won’t go back.

I got sick with flu and a cough the day before my booking, even saw a doctor and sent in a medical certificate. I asked as a goodwill gesture for a refund because of the unforeseen circumstances, but they refused. I also asked to reschedule since I never got to use the stay, and that was denied too. I understand the booking was non-refundable, but the hotel policy felt inflexible.

SP Hotel is right in the SP Business Center and seems affordable. There are banks, restaurants, a mini market, post office, food court, and plenty more around it. You should try this hotel.

Not far from the main street, this is a decent budget hotel if you’re looking around Batu Aji. The service isn’t bad.
