They were supposed to provide drinking water, but there wasn't any. The excuse was that the housekeeper hadn't managed to buy it. What a lousy excuse! Netflix wouldn't connect either, so I ended up watching SG channel only. LOL. Really not recommended.

The best thing about this unit (#03-AF, Cozyhomes) is how close it is to the ferry terminal, about 5 minutes away. The location, air conditioning and water cleanliness were all top notch, and you can see the terminal from the unit. The room is small, suited to two people or three at most, but it has a stove, electric kettle, fridge, microwave, a few pots, plates, cups and cutlery. There's also affordable laundry service on the 1st floor. You'll need to be pretty independent here. There's no room service, you have to take out your own rubbish, and the welcome drink listed in the amenities wasn't there. Bring your own toiletries, like a brush and toothpaste. The shower foam and shampoo had been used by previous guests, and we got only one toilet roll for 3 days. The bin bags left in the bins for the next use didn't fit. The toilet and towels smelled foul, and the hot water kept cutting out during a shower. There was no iron in the room, which is consistent with it not being listed among the available amenities, though you might usually expect one at many places. I wouldn't choose this unit for another trip.

There was only a little hot water in the shower, and the bunk beds felt much too high. I also found a spider on the hotel room wall.

This works if you want a room near Batam Center Harbour. The mosque is a five-minute walk away, and there are food places all along the street just outside the hotel.
