The view was great, but the room was basic and the service just okay. The food was disappointing. We ordered Chicken Chop and Hamburger, and both were tough and plain, like they’d been freezer burnt. It cost about three times what outside food would. The photos make the beach and activity area look more impressive than they felt in person. They’re all within just a few metres of each other. You’re also pretty isolated at this resort, a good 20 minutes from the nearest mall, so getting supplies isn’t easy. Bring what you might need. We booked two days but left after the first, losing the booking fee because we couldn’t stand staying there. HENG AH.

The private beach and clean swimming pool were highlights, and it’s in one of Batam’s best locations. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it. The property is beautiful, though a little old, and the washrooms could use renovations, especially the old tiles and basins.

The room’s high ceiling and big bathroom were great, and I loved the view. The TV wasn’t working very well, but who comes here to watch TV? We couldn’t go to the beach because the tide was very high and dangerous. Breakfast was moderate, and the resort is farther from the city. Still, I loved it!

The rooms were clean and the toilet was huge :) Staff service was hit and miss, with some giving very good service and others less so. Breakfast was acceptable, though I expected more from a 4-star resort. Some rooms are in hard-to-reach parts of the resort up a very steep slope, but they do provide buggy services. A great place to stay!

My wife recommended this place, and we had a great stay. The quiet beach resort has a romantic, laid-back feel and seems good for couples or families. Breakfast is a good deal, though the restaurant food is expensive. The monkeys were a nuisance, though. We could hear them walking on our balcony in the middle of the night. We also couldn’t go paragliding because of the bad wind and sea, and were turned down three times. Still, I’d come back.
