The location worked well, with an Indomaret and other convenience stores nearby, and Alun Alun Batu just 5-10 minutes away. The room and atmosphere were okay, though the old furniture and door lock make the hotel's age pretty clear. I didn't mind the amenities, but the WiFi was really poor, so this may not suit you if you need a strong connection. If you're only looking for somewhere to sleep while visiting Batu, it might be passable, though I still wouldn't recommend it highly. The food was so-so, with not much variety.

For a family trip, I think it's all right, especially if you just need hot water and a pool for the kids. But the hotel could be cleaner, since there were still stains on the bed linen, and the building looks old. It felt a bit spooky at night.

We used to come here often when I was a kid, so my family and I returned for the memories. The staff are friendly, and our room was clean. They've modernized much of the place and added a comfortable pool by the new building. I also liked the “Cafè” overlooking Malang city, a nice spot to sit and chat.

The first impression was fine, but the room let it down. The hotel seems poorly maintained, and the whole place, including the room, felt dark and gloomy. The food was average. The dirty bathroom was what I couldn't get past. T.T In my view, this doesn't deserve a 3-star rating, and the facilities need work.

I paid $85 a night and honestly felt like crying. The place is badly maintained and very dark and gloomy, and the bathroom didn't help. The staff seemed really unprofessional to me, not what I'd expect at a 3-star hotel.
