Golden Tulip Holland Resort

The area is beautiful and the facilities are nice, but I was glad I’d booked only one night. The lack of soundproofing meant the usual noises came through, and the electronic door right outside my room made a melodic beep every time someone passed. It was almost impossible to get to sleep, like being back at school camp. I also waited an hour for a drink at the downstairs restaurant. The staff did their best, but I expected more from a five-star hotel.

The staff were the best part for me. They were so kind and helpful, and always seemed ready to go the extra mile with a smile. The hotel also has a good range of facilities, all well maintained, so there’s plenty to do without leaving the property. I felt relaxed as soon as I checked in, thanks to the cool, serene atmosphere. My room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the full set of quality amenities had everything I needed.

The breakfast has a good variety and tastes pretty good, and the pool and garden seem fairly child-friendly. I’d pick the premier view option too. When the weather cooperates, the scenery is lovely in the morning and evening. If you’re after a comfortable holiday in the Batu/Malang area, with great views, full facilities, and good service, Golden Tulip is worth a look. Weekend and holiday hotel prices in Batu and Malang are often inflated, so with only a small price difference from a four-star hotel, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Golden Tulip.

The service has been exceptionally friendly every time, with polite, well-groomed staff who pay attention to guests’ comfort. I’ve stayed here three times, and my third visit was for Valentine’s Day and my birthday. Everything in the room was clean and in good condition, including the electronic appliances, which all worked properly. The jacuzzi had warm water too. I’ll choose this hotel again for another special occasion.
