Lina Boutique Villas & Spa

The staff are what made Lina Boutique Villas feel special. They went out of their way for me, from calling a doctor late at night when I got sick and checking on me the next day, to arranging scooter hire at short notice and airport transfers. They were also happy to give me complimentary scooter rides into town and back. Staff and security greeted me whenever I came and went, and we’d chat about my plans or Lombok. Once, they even recognised me walking back from town and offered me a lift. It felt like staying with family, and I can’t wait to return. I booked two nights in January 2026 for a surfing trip, then extended for a week because I loved it so much. The bed was wonderfully comfortable after surfing, with a soft mattress, a choice of cotton or linen sheets, and evening turndown service. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with plenty of vegetarian options. Overnight oats were my favourite, followed by the Moroccan Breakfast. I also liked having a separate lounge and a convenient kitchen. The large water vessel was regularly topped up. The warm plunge pool was just right for a dip after surfing, and the complimentary afternoon tea by the pool came with delicious homemade chocolates. The shower was toasty warm with excellent pressure. The spa was beautiful and the massages relaxing. Sitting with warm tea and a magazine afterwards was lovely. I adored the decor, there was a photo moment everywhere, and my camera roll is full of little snaps from around the hotel. Cafes and restaurants are an easy short walk or scooter ride away. My one suggestion would be a full size mirror so I could take a picture of my outfits each day.

The team made my vacation. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they looked after us rain or shine. We had a great time taking it easy here and resting from work. The villa layout was amazing, everything was convenient, and the staff ferried us on their scooters to the gym and several nearby restaurants. They helped decorate the bed for my wife’s birthday, and the complimentary amenities kit for her was amazing. After a long day exploring, the couple massage really hit the spot. They could also answer our questions about the island. There weren’t any pests, just a few harmless flies that got in when we opened the door to our private pool. We had our island escape here a few months ago. Thanks, Team.

The only real hassle was getting into town. The place is tucked away, and the roads are unpaved, so walking to the center is tricky, especially after rain. But the stay itself was lovely, and I’d come back. The staff were warm and very helpful, breakfast was served every day, and sometimes there was tea and cookies later on. I also loved the soft, breathable linens, the comfortable beds, and the thoughtful, distinctive decor.

We stayed six nights in a two bedroom unit with our two kids, and they spent time in the little pool every day. The room was beautiful and quiet, with good soundproofing. Breakfast was very good quality, and we had several massages at the day spa, which was good too. The staff and service were fantastic. We all loved it, and I highly recommend the place.
