Getting around Batukaras was easy with the staff's help. They arranged transport both ways and helped us find surfboards and scooters to rent. Our room was simple but clean and met our expectations, and everyone was friendly and ready to help. If you're here during Ramadan, keep in mind that very few restaurants open in the morning for breakfast.

The beds were okay and the place was surprisingly clean, but mosquitoes kept showing up. Even with the air-conditioning, I killed several every night and still spotted more at bedtime, so I took off a star. The rooms are spacious, each with a double bed, an en suite bathroom, and a little porch with a table and chairs. It's a few minutes' walk to the beach. Towels, blankets, instant coffee, and a water dispenser are provided in the room. Bring your own bottle and toiletries, since there's no soap, toothbrush, or toothpaste. The shower has no hot water.

The owner and his family were very, very kind, and there's also a place to cook. Our room was clean and spacious, and both surf spots are nearby. We had an amazing stay and will 100% come back! Thank you for everything ♥️

The staff were friendly and helpful, and they sorted out transport to Batu Karas and a scooter for me. The room was clean and had everything I needed, even a water dispenser. It's in a lovely location and good value for money. I'd definitely stay again 😊

The shop beside the hotel, run by the same owner, has big bottles of Bintang. Addi was great, even if he was a little hard to read at first. He took us to a nice restaurant and arranged both a Green Canyon trip and a boat trip to Cilacap. A really nice guy. The rooms are clean and spacious, and it's a perfect place to stay in Batukaras, especially for the price.
