The waterfall is only a short stroll away, and there’s a breakfast set you can order near the curug. I loved how quiet everything felt, with friendly service and cool, fresh air. The cabin was cozy and more comfortable than I expected, though the deluxe one is pretty small. The forest view, plus the chance to have a BBQ or bonfire right outside, made up for that. The access road was totally OK. It had that foggy, serene Taylor Swift video feel, wkwk. A lovely place to recharge alone or with family.

The view was pretty good, and we could get to the waterfall. The service was good too: when we panicked, the concierge calmed us down. I can’t say whether the place itself is good or not, though, because getting there was SOO BADD. They didn’t tell us which route to take to the bobocabin in baturraden, so we followed Google Maps.

The waterfall nearby was really nice and easy to get to. I loved how clean the place was, including the well-equipped toilets, and there was even a humidifier in the cabin. It was so quiet, with cool air and calming nature sounds. Baturraden was around 18° - 20°C then. The friendly service helped make it a great place to unwind and reset after work and city life. One downside, food took a long time to arrive, about 1 - 1.5 hours. The hot water also ran out quickly.

Inside the grounds there’s a waterfall of their own, plus a botanical garden and other interesting spots. The cabin itself is high-tech and modern, tucked among tall forest trees, and I was surprised by how comfortable and peaceful it felt. It took me about 8 hours to drive from Jakarta. I’d expected ordinary glamping at first.
