A nice place to stay and unwind.

We arrived at 1 a.m. and the staff still served us enthusiastically. They kept checking on our app order even though it hadn’t arrived yet. Since we had the kids with us, we’d been a little worried. Thank you. We didn’t get to sleep until 2 a.m., and after dawn we were still tired and wanted to rest. The street food vendors were noisy in the morning and disturbed us.

The hotel sits right by the road and has plenty of parking. The room feels spacious, with high walls, but bits of dirt keep falling from the drywall and the floor gets dirty quickly. The AC is cold but doesn’t work well because the ventilation is wide. It’s cool here near the mountains even without it. The bathroom has a shower, but the faucet gives warm water. The toilet smelled awful even after several flushes, and its broken flush button means you have to open the tank to press it. There’s nothing to do besides watch TV, which only has national channels, so small children have little entertainment. In the morning, street vendors sell breakfast, fried food, and milk. Prices are quite high even though they’re street vendors, and up to four vendors take turns selling by 8 a.m. There are no fake plant sellers in, so don’t worry about being ripped off. The hotel guard hangs out in front smoking.

The staff were friendly, and I liked that. It’s quiet, cool, and clean here, a comfortable spot for a break. There is air conditioning, but it felt too cold to need it. The hot water wasn’t working yesterday. In the morning, women come by offering yellow rice, milk, coffee, and fried snacks. Wi-Fi is available, but I didn’t try it, so I can’t say how it is.
