I found it at the last minute during my year end holiday in Jogja. The price was still reasonable, and the location was okay. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, but had a slightly musty smell. Dust and spider webs around the window frame made it seem like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Parking is limited. During peak season there was no tukang parkir or parking staff, which made coming and going a bit troublesome. Apart from that, things were okay.

The owner was friendly and shared information about local tourist spots. My family suite cost under 300k with the promo code, and parking was always available during my stay. The bed is huge, the bathroom decent, and drinking water is kept outside the room. One thing to watch: ants get into the room because of the paddy field behind the property, so keep anything sweet off the floors. Seriously, a very good hotel. If you haven't signed up yet, consider using promo code: SUYAO75B9W for extra discount.

The city centre is a bit of a distance away, but getting a GrabCar or GrabBike is very easy. My room was nice and clean, with cool AC and a very clean bathroom. This is the best budget accommodation I've stayed at in Yogyakarta. I'd happily come back one day, and recommend it to budget travellers.

Of the budget hotels I've visited in Jogja, this was the best.

A peaceful, clean place, and not too far from the city.
