The garden is spacious, the views are lovely, and there’s even a playground. It’s quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a menu that covers Indonesian and Western food from starters through dessert. If you want somewhere peaceful in Bedugul, this is a great choice.

The food was good and the prices felt fair. Rain outside and a warm fire indoors made the relaxed atmosphere extra cozy. We had a pleasant time here.

I’ve been back to Warung Rekreasi Bedugul many times and keep wanting to return. There’s a special spirit to the place, with an incredible garden, beautiful views, and friendly staff. The food is amazing too. I’m so grateful for it.

We had dinner here and liked the interior. The food was tasty, though nothing special. I tried the grilled mujair fish with a strawberry milkshake, plus some gado gado. They’d run out of pisang goreng, but when we asked, they kindly went to the market to get what they needed to make it for us.

Please check the hot water setup before staying. Our 13-year-old daughter was poisoned by carbon monoxide from a gas water heater installed in an unventilated bathroom. She passed out, hit her head, and had to see a local nurse. The heater’s warning clearly says it should be installed outside the bathroom in a well-ventilated area. I can’t say whether the other rooms are the same, so check yours. The bathroom was also pretty grotty. The gardens were peaceful, the restaurant was great, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We got a full refund. I’m not trying to criticize for its own sake, I just want the room made safe so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
