Amaris Hotel Kalimalang

I was there for four days on a business trip. The staff were super nice, and the location is perfectly placed. Breakfast was so-so, but that's okay. It's a value hotel.

Breakfast tasted good and the place was clean. It may be more like a two- or three-star hotel, but I had a good stay overall. I'd recommend it if you don't need a swimming pool.

The room was very clean, easily the best part of my stay. Breakfast was okay too, with a decent variety for the rate. Parking was a mess, though. When the lot is full, you have to leave your car keys at reception. The wide windows give you a nice view, but the sun can heat the room up badly. The blinds help a little, and the AC cools it quickly, but even setting it to 16°C didn't feel like enough against the heat outside. They also don't allow two keycards, so when you leave, you can't keep the power on to maintain the cool air. Overall, the experience was okay.

Breakfast was filling and the buffet kept getting refilled while I spent an hour eating. It wasn't the best breakfast, but it was worth having and didn't disappoint. I paid 400K for Thursday to Friday and had a 12th-floor view of the Bekasi toll road and the city. It's an affordable spot for a staycation or a short stop. The room AC could be colder, and the breakfast area should be separate from the front office. Thanks.
