Simply Modern Studio Grand Dhika City Apartment

This was my first stay here, and it’ll be my last. The bathroom was empty, with no soap, shampoo or other shower items, even though OYO usually provides a shower kit. There were spider webs and dirty patches on the floor and elsewhere, and the air conditioner was loud and barely worked. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The price is affordable, and you can use the pool and gym. The OYO staff are friendly, but getting a reply on WhatsApp can take a long time, and they’re sometimes hard to reach. I’ve stayed at this apartment several times with colleagues and we keep having the same issue: the air conditioning doesn’t cool properly. The room, and even the bathroom, feel really small to me.

It’s cheap and in a convenient spot, so it works as a transit hotel. Pool and gym access are free, too. The room is cramped, though, and some things are broken: the chair, the TV receiver with no signal, and the noisy AC compressor.

The pool is small but nice, and there’s also a gym and a surprisingly tiny playground. Still, after staying here for two days on family business, I found the service pretty bad. The elevator card only lets you reach your own floor, so from the 18th floor you can’t go to the 14th. The rooms have no soundproofing at all. I could hear traffic jams from the 25th floor. It’s in a strategic area, at least, despite the poor experience.
