The staff were the highlight of our stay. Everyone was warm, attentive, and kind. Special thanks to Edric, Pito, Bugis, and Kevin.. They went out of their way to make us feel cared for, and their hospitality made the visit personal and memorable. We also loved the peaceful, nature-filled setting and the eco-friendly design. It was just the kind of place we hoped for to slow down and reconnect with the sea. The complimentary kayaks and stand-up paddle boards were a lovely extra for getting out on the calm water. One small suggestion: adjusting the AC direction, or placing it so cool air spreads more evenly, could help the room cool faster and feel more comfortable during warmer hours. We truly enjoyed our time and would happily return. Thank you to the entire Bilitong Eco Resort team for such a wonderful stay.

The beach was picturesque, with giant stones and sand like powder. We were there in January during rainy season, so beach days depended on the weather. The kayaks and paddles were available for our group of eight adults and a toddler, as listed. Our beds were comfy, rooms squeaky clean, and the oversized glass wall looking out to the beach was lovely. Bathrooms exceeded my expectations, with hot water even at night, fluffy clean towels, good shower pressure, and a hand-held bidet. The room also had a kettle, water jugs, coffee, tea, sugar, and snacks. We booked through WhatsApp and customer service was communicative and responsive, answering my concerns directly. I’d suggest future guests ask plenty of questions so they know what to expect. Staff were friendly, attentive, and helped us with everything, including preparing meals. Breakfast at the common villa was the best. Meals were simple, but better than most hotels in New York. This is a private beach retreat, tranquil and far from the city, about a 30-40 minute drive away. It’s a good fit if you want to disconnect and be close to nature. Ants and some insects are expected with this kind of accommodation. The Wi-Fi wasn’t the most consistent, food didn’t come in five minutes, and Grab or Gojek orders were hard to get accepted. If you’re after a city hotel experience with bathtubs and the like, there are other places in town. My only complaint was the beach dinner package. At Rp250.000/pax, I expected a bigger portion. I think ordering a la carte would have gotten us more food, and our large group was a bit disappointed. Aside from that, everything was perfect. Thank you to the Billiton team!

We liked the villa so much that, after our first night, we extended our original two-night booking by another two nights. It’s romantic and lovely, with a great view of the white sandy beach. Since it’s an eko retreat, we hadn’t expected AC, so finding both regular fans and an AC above the bed was a welcome surprise, and we were glad to use it. The location is a bit remote, so we recommend renting a scooter. Breakfast is served in a spot right by the beach. The staff were super friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. Canoes and SUP boards are free to use, and boats will pick you up in front of your villa if you book a diving or snorkelling tour.

The staff made the biggest impression on me. Their warmth and care made it feel like leaving friends when I checked out, rather than just leaving a place. Everything was arranged with them, from island excursions to the city tour, and it all went smoothly with zero hassle. The eco-beach retreat is calm and private, and you can tell they really care about the surrounding environment in the way they run it, not just in the branding. There’s white sand and calm blue water right in front of the room. I stayed here on my Belitung trip, and it’s the kind of place that sticks with you. Worth every buck. If you’re going to Belitung, just stay here.
