Rock and Wreck Dive Resort

The beach here feels like a quiet little paradise, and the location is amazing. The rooms are roomy and distinctive, with air conditioning, though it would be handy to have light switches and outlets by the bed. Some bathrooms are partly outdoors, so check that suits you. We liked the pool, and the food was varied and really tasty. The staff were helpful and arranged scooters, taxis, and a snorkeling trip for us.

The beach right in front is priceless, and the simple food was good. They can also arrange island hopping and an airport transfer. Jeff and Linda were so nice, and Yuni was especially sweet, along with all the staff. I loved the island and had such a good week here. I already want to come back. Finding the place can be a little tricky, so double-check the exact map pin before you go 🤞. Once there, the view of Tanjung Kelayang beach is wonderful, and it’s a great beach for swimming. The staff are attentive and very friendly. The whole house is a classic traditional melayu belitung rumah panggung. It has Wi-Fi, and it was surprisingly fast for a somewhat remote spot. The rooms are comfortable, and the price is affordable. I’d recommend it to anyone after a great beach stay in Belitung.

A lovely pool, great meals, wonderful staff, and character filled historic rooms that are still comfortable. The resort is steps from the beach with amazing views. Local cats and dogs join you while you watch the sunset. Loved our time here, paradise!
