OYO 2659 B'rasco Homestay Syariah

The room itself was a poor deal, and getting it was a mess. I paid for a reservation through Agoda, with confirmation emails from both OYO and the hotel. At the front desk they said they no longer accepted Agoda bookings. Even after I showed the confirmation and proof of payment, they wouldn't honor it. They said online bookings were no longer accepted and I had to pay cash a second time to stay. That cash price was three or four times what I'd already paid. I had no choice in the circumstances, so I paid again. The bathroom smelled bad, the towel was little better than a rag, and there was no water from the sink faucet. The shower fixture wouldn't stay attached to the wall, and the shower water was ice cold. Some awful looking ooze came from the air conditioner drain pipe, and water dripped onto the towels on the rack until they were soaked. WiFi didn't work in my room either. When I arrived, the lobby was dark and empty. The water dispenser there was empty too, and the place felt unwelcoming and unfriendly. I won't return. I've seen other people on Agoda describe the same problem: the hotel takes payment through a reservation, then refuses to provide a room unless you pay cash again, despite still being listed online and accepting bookings. Be careful with this place.
