They kept taking reservations even when the place was full, and I was refused check-in. At midnight, they aggressively made me leave without offering another place to stay. The front desk staff and manager both confirmed that they regularly charge 150k a night, even when someone booked for under 100k. This felt like a total scam.

We booked online and gave a credit card to hold the reservation. When we arrived, the price was twice what the listing showed. We asked to cancel, but nobody spoke English. They laughed at us and then tried to fight us, so we left. The way they treated us was shockingly rude and aggressive. OYO told us the booking would be canceled with no charge, but my card was billed for all three nights and they still won’t refund me. They’re dishonest, and this place and company should be out of business. They’re giving Bali a bad name.

They only told me about the higher price once I arrived and asked for more money on top of what I’d already paid. I hadn’t received any message, email, or other notice that the price had changed. I couldn’t cancel because the policy required doing it two days before arrival.

They canceled the booking and gave me no refund. OYO are scammers. The same thing happened at another hotel, so never pay in advance.
