Booking through Traveloka, we found the staff very welcoming. The room was clean enough, though there was a stain on the pillow. There’s no hot water, but the water runs constantly and has no smell. You can refill drinking water from the gallon at no charge. Good value for a budget stay.

The room was small and had mosquitoes, though it was clean and had a TV and AC. It’s a bit old, and there’s no shower. Staff don’t speak English, but they’re friendly. Fine for a budget hotel.

We arrived in Benteng early in the morning and could check in straight away since a room was ready. The guesthouse was clean and the service friendly. The bed had a topper and blanket, so it felt soft and comfortable, and I didn’t see any insects. The AC was cool, and the room had a good range of basics, including drinking water, soap and towels.
