Berakit Bay Resort

Booking a few days at Berakit Bay Resort for a short break turned out to be a great decision. I had the beach to myself, with nobody else around, and the resort’s seafood was the cherry on top. The crabs and fish were so delicious.

Very peaceful and tranquil. I’ll definitely stay there again :)

For a quiet birthday getaway, Berakit Bay Resort was unforgettable. Its distance from the city and limited number of rooms may be why it’s so peaceful. Mr. Edd came by in the morning to wish me happy birthday, which really touched me. Mrs. Ati was very friendly and was the first to notice my birthday. Mrs. Daisy was friendly too. Though she wasn’t there, she called to wish me well and check that I was enjoying my stay. The room did have a couple of drawbacks. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, and there was no air conditioning, only a fan. Luckily the atmosphere was cool, so it didn’t get too hot.

If you’re comfortable with simple facilities, this place can be a lovely break from the city. The air stays cool even without air conditioning, the mattress is soft, and the quiet, natural setting is very relaxing. There’s a kitchen with facilities guests can use, and the friendly service made it feel homey. Towels, soap, and toothbrushes were provided, and the facilities were quite good for a simple stay. I hope they add more over time. Good luck to the owner!
