The rooftop cafe was the best part, with a relaxed vibe and a nice place to hang out. The food was just okay. Our deluxe room was large and had a balcony, but the amenities were sparse, just soap and shampoo, no toothbrush or the usual extras. Somehow the room was way too cold for me, even though there was no AC 😂. Arriving at night, we couldn't find clear signs for reception. We were led along a random path with the pool below while carrying our luggage in the dark 😅. It felt like a benteng takeshi challenge. A pretty quirky stay!

The bed was pretty good, but the room made my ears feel numb and blocked, like I was up in the mountains with pressure building. I think it was because the air didn't circulate well and there was no window. Water was unreliable too. After someone showered, it stopped, and I had to wait about 10 minutes. At first the hotel gave a good impression, but that changed once I got into the room.

During our stay with friends on 24 January - 25 January 2026, we found a large stain on the mosquito net in our room. It looked like blood, and I hoped it wasn't menstrual blood. We asked reception for an upgrade or a free extra bed as compensation, but they said they couldn't provide either. The way they handled the complaint was poor. When we checked in, I urgently needed the toilet, so the receptionist directed me to the public one behind reception. It looked abandoned and was dirty, with no tissue. That alone wasn't a major issue if there had been enough water for the hand shower and flushing, but when I flushed, water leaked from the base of the bowl and covered the floor with wastewater. Reception admitted they'd never checked it and didn't know it was broken. What bad management. Management, please take this complaint seriously and check and maintain your facilities properly.

The location is beautiful and the surroundings are really pleasing, which makes the cleanliness problems such a shame. My cleanliness rating is 0/5. Inside the room there was a strong musty smell and a damp feeling. I had to wear the hotel slippers just to walk around. The bathroom was dirty, with visible mold and grime, especially near the bidet, and even the toilet mirror was dirty. The bed and blanket felt damp too. There was a blue stain in the middle of the sheet, and the blanket was torn. I first thought the dampness might be from the area's cold, humid climate. But another room we checked didn't have the same issue, so it seemed more likely to be about housekeeping or room preparation.

The rooftop cafe at night was the one good part, with live music, good food, and a very nice view. I had a lot of bad experiences otherwise. Maybe stay just for the cafe, not for more than a day, or perhaps the most expensive room would be more satisfying, though I'm not sure. I was there in June 2024. On the first day, the bathroom door wouldn't lock, so I had to call engineering to fix it. There was no towel or hairdryer in the room, but they brought those when we asked. The TV channels didn't work, and the replacement TV was concerning too, so I used its internet to watch YouTube. There was no supervisor or manager around in the morning or afternoon to complain to. Breakfast on the second day was at some random place with mixed tables, a big living room, and outdoor tables. They'd run out of nasi goreng and mie goreng, and about 10 people waited in line for 15 minutes. When we left that place, the staff member helping direct our car gave us the wrong direction, and the back of my car hit a pole. That's why, for me, staying here is a big no.
