Blue Planet Dive Resort

I was lucky there was space for me to take my advanced diving course. Molly was a kind, direct instructor and knew a lot about nature and underwater life. The reef just outside is diverse, with sharks, turtles, plenty of fish, and beautiful corals. We even spotted a big, beautiful seahorse. Everything about this place feels magical. The owners, staff, and dive masters are all so kind. It’s also great to stay somewhere working together with has such a lovely view, while talking about nature and scuba diving with other people who love diving or work for the Indo ocean project. Jenly is another kind, fun guide with a well-trained eye who easily points out the large and small things around Bira's dive sites. I recommend this place big time.

I came to Bira on an impromptu trip and decided to dive. Jasmine was helpful and communicative while arranging it, and Robin and Kert were absolutely lovely instructors during my two days of diving. Phoebe was incredibly sweet and friendly too. Everyone staying there was an intern in the dive master or IOP conservation program, and they made me feel welcome. As the only local tourist on board, I never felt out of place. Blue Planet had such a fun, lively energy that I wished I could stay longer. I'll definitely be back, and hopefully join the extensive conservation program someday. See you on the next dive! 🙌🏼

Blue Planet is a fantastic place to get certified at any level, or just snorkel over its well-maintained house reef. The owners take good care of the staff and are involved in local conservation work, including mangrove and coral restoration. The sunsets are otherworldly, and starting the day with yoga is lovely. Bira wouldn't be the same without BP!

I can't praise this dive resort enough. The people working there are knowledgeable and easy to talk to, and their dive safety approach is second to none. I always felt in good hands on their boats and using their equipment. I took my rescue course with Blue Planet and stayed there while doing my dive master qualification. They've created a slice of paradise.
