K2 Lembeh Dive Resort

The price felt very fair compared with the resorts we considered nearby, including Bangka, Bunaken, and Siladen. Sharon, the owner, handled all the arrangements so smoothly that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Our driver was right on time in Manado and got us safely to the boat dock near Bitung, then we continued by boat to the resort. Lunch was ready when we arrived, and they had asked about our food preferences and intolerances beforehand and followed them carefully. After the paperwork and a short rest, we were already getting ready on the boat for our first refresher dive, since we hadn’t scuba dived in a long time. We were both nervous, honestly more than a little, but Fiki took good care of us. We felt safe on all our dives. Muck diving was new to me, and with the visibility generally poor, it took some extra effort to get past my fears.

The bungalows were clean, comfortable, and spacious, and felt like good value. We had an absolutely lovely time at K2, with delicious food, memorable dives, and everything so well organized. A big thank you to the couple managing the resort, Ron for always being around to answer questions, the kitchen team, boat crew, and dive guides. Everyone was welcoming and worked hard to make our stay special.

I felt lucky to dive with both of K2’s brilliant guides. Venly is attentive and knows just when to help with tiny critters, including finding the right position for a shot. He remembers how I handle my camera and is always ready to assist. Thanks for the blue-ring and flamboyant, and the Eagle Ray too 😅 Fiki is passionate and dedicated, and his face lights up when he talks about critters. He’s especially good at spotting tiny things like hair shrimp and pgymy squid, and can keep you busy for an entire dive. You may need to remind him when it’s nearly 100 minutes and time to surface 🤣 Even when they weren’t there in person, the owners took thoughtful care of my trip and patiently answered my questions about focusing on the critters. K2 is highly recommended.

We booked our Lembeh diving trip at ADEX and travelled in Nov 2025. Sharon arranged everything, and we had a great time diving with K2 Lembeh dive resort. I hadn’t realized muck diving could be so much fun :) Fiki was incredible at finding all kinds of unusual critters for macro photography. Thanks to him, the other guides, and the crew, Jimmy, Evan, and Mario, who also pointed out special critters to us. We were lucky enough to spot a RARE orange bobtail on a night dive. Ronny and Yuli always had yummy food ready after our dives. One small thing for next time: I’ll remind Ronny and the cleaning crew about changing towels and taking out the rubbish. I’ll definitely come back to K2 Lembeh resort for another trip.
