Tangkoko Sanctuary Villa & Spa

Fabyo was such an enthusiastic, knowledgeable guide, and the jungle tours and massage were highlights for us. We loved staying at sanctuary villa, with its comfortable room and very friendly staff. Laundry was also very affordable. A few small things: the bed squeaked, the seating outside our room wasn’t very comfortable, and sometimes we wanted a bit more food. We asked for extra and it was no problem, though we may just be big eaters. It’s also a little far from the beach, which was fine since we mainly wanted to rest between tours.

The tours were fantastic. We got to see the animals we hoped for, including tarsiers, macaques, bear cuscus, and hornbills, plus unexpected sightings of a snake, tarantula, kingfisher, and flying lizard. The family and staff at this little oasis in Tangkoko National Park made us feel at home, and they really tried to help with every request. Ati and her team served the best food we had on our three-week trip in Indonesia. It was fresh, the restaurant was very clean, and they took great care of vegetarians. The restaurant views were beautiful too. We stayed in the “Top Hill” room from 29.12.2025 to 02.01.2026. It was basic but lovely, with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, amazing views, a spacious bathroom, and plenty of drinking water. When my wife got sick, they brought her fresh ginger tea several times each day, and it helped her recover faster. Thank you so much!

We arrived here unexpectedly after our travel plans suddenly changed, and ended up having a great time. The traditional food was among the best I had anywhere in Indonesia. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and the location near Tangkoko National Park is beautiful.

We weren’t sure what to expect, but had a wonderful time in Tangkoko, surrounded by beautiful, raw nature. The guides and tours were brilliant, the food incredible, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. This little jungle hideaway really impressed us.
