Bumi Katulampa - Convention Resort

The resort has a modern feel, with a Bali-style exterior, comfortable furniture, air conditioning, a TV, a hot shower, and a nice pool. I thought it was great for the affordable price. A shower hanger, shower cap, and some wall art to hide marks would make it feel more finished. I’d also like to know how the rates differ with breakfast included.

The view and front desk service were lovely, but the room was a different story. I couldn’t sleep properly because the bed didn’t seem clean. The shower didn’t work either, though they kindly let us use another room to bathe. That was considerate, but this still wasn’t acceptable. 🙄

The lobby looked promising when I arrived, but the room was a letdown. Its door could be opened, yet the broken lock meant I couldn’t secure it. I found dirt on the floor, and there was no phone or TV remote, even though the TV was mounted on the wall. Towels and flip-flops weren’t provided unless you asked, and the hot water didn’t work. Worst hotel room I’ve had.

There’s plenty of space and the design is nice, but cleanliness was really poor. The couch and chair were covered in stains, there was mold in the bathroom, and the ceiling leaked. The amenities weren’t handled well either. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless Aston hospitality or another good hospitality company takes it over.
