D'Anaya Hotel Bogor

Tasty food and a nice waitress. Hope the hotel keeps up the good service.

We chose this place for its strategic location and suddenly booked a twin deluxe and a deluxe single, asking for connecting rooms for five adults. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the facilities, amenities, hot water, AC, TV, beds, and pool were all great. We also had mountain and city views. It exceeded what we expected from a 3 star hotel, and we had no issues. I'd consider staying again when we're back in Bogor Kota.

The food was varied and delicious, but the staff took too long to refill dishes and eating utensils. Maybe they were short-handed because it was a long weekend or high season. The location was nothing special. My room was spacious, though it could've been cleaner. There was a small stain on the blanket, which I could live with. The balcony had dust, a stained floor, and leaves, and it was a shame there was a no-smoking sign out there. If you smoke, there's only one designated spot, on the ground floor. The pool water seemed dirty too, with lots of sand-like bits visible through diving goggles, plus leaves and bugs even in the morning. This place should be good enough outside of long weekends and high-season holidays.

I'd give the hotel 4.5/5. I paid 550k for a weekend stay with breakfast for two, which felt cheap. I booked a room with a pool view and balcony. It was quite spacious and comfortable, with a big mattress, though the pillows felt too thin and flat for me. The towels and floor mat weren't white, more like a soft brown or broken white. Service gets 5/5 for now. The staff were welcoming and accepted my complaint. Breakfast gets 4/5. It needs more main course options. The BUBUR KETAN HITAM had already gone musty and didn't taste right, and the pasta was bland. The salad could use more types of vegetables and more sauce. There are plenty of food options nearby, including street food and restaurants, plus Botani square mall and Kopi nako daur baur.
