We spent three days and two nights here. It’s an older building, but the room was comfortable. The restaurant and pantry food was tasty and fairly priced, and the staff were friendly. Cleanliness needs more attention, though. The pool is great, with a roof that lets you swim comfortably in rain or strong sun, but the water needs better upkeep. The bathroom was fairly clean, but could use more hooks or racks. In my room I had to hold the shower head because there was nowhere to hang it on the wall. Breakfast options also weren’t replenished when we arrived late. Still, for the affordable price, comfortable room, friendly staff, and good food, we had a good stay.

We booked a room here too, and it was comfortable. The ballroom is a good choice for a special event, with a helpful team and parking for plenty of guests. Hospitality was very good, and the price was affordable. Thanks, Duta Berlian.

I appreciated the welcome drink, even though the reception staff didn’t notice the paper cup tray was empty. The rest of the service was poor. At lunch with coworkers and clients, our food took almost 30 minutes to arrive, and the EDC machine wouldn’t work. Reception was unresponsive too. We asked for extra chairs right away, but were told they’d be delivered to the room later. That wasn’t professional.

This is an old hotel, so don’t expect a five-star stay. The new pool in the middle of the grounds is what I liked. It’s indoors, so rain and harsh sunlight aren’t a concern while you swim.

Breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m., which seemed late to me since many people begin their day then. I stayed at Duta Berlian hotel from November 14-16, 2018. The price was affordable, but my room wasn’t comfortable: the air conditioner didn’t cool, there was no coat hanger in the bathroom, the TV reception was poor, and there were lots of mosquitoes. I asked the room clerk to clean it on the morning of November 15, but it still hadn’t been done when I returned at noon, so I had to wait in the lobby. Then on November 19, I had a hard time getting an invoice sent to my office address because the hotel had no fax facilities.
