The photos on Booking.com made the place look nice and new. When I arrived, though, the sheets were dirty and stained, the walls had stains all over them, there were cigarette butts on the balcony, and the bathroom walls looked old. I asked to see other rooms, but they were worse, with mold near the bed. They wouldn’t refund my reservation fee, so I left that same day and lost my money. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless it gets cleaned up.

For a cheap place to sleep for one night, it’s still a decent option. The balcony view was relaxing, and the staff were friendly, although the service was a little disappointing. It’s somewhat remote but easy enough to reach if you choose the right route in Google Maps. My room wasn’t clean, with hairs in a few places and cigarette butts on the balcony. There’s no Wi-Fi, XL reception is unstable, and each room gets only one towel. Bottled water is the only amenity. Car parking costs an extra Rp10.000.

The worst part was finding out OYO was no longer affiliated with Skyland. Luckily, Traveloka managed to get me a refund.
