The peaceful setting was a highlight: you can enjoy the morning mist outside, and the evenings feel romantic with the sounds of insects. The food was good too. The coffee was gentle on my stomach, the corn fritters had a distinctive taste, and breakfast included bubur sumsum that wasn’t too sweet. We came as a family and were happy with our overnight stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the price felt fair, and the country road to get there was in good shape. Our room was clean enough, though it could use a little touch-up and the curtains were a bit dirty. The AC was very cool, the TV picture was clear, and the water heater and shower worked well. They should keep a closer eye on bathroom cleanliness. There are inexpensive bicycle rentals that the children really enjoyed, as well as a space for barbecues and bonfires if you’re organizing a gathering. I’d recommend the place and would stay again. I hated the stay. The service was bad, there was no hot water, and the room was dustier than an abandoned house, with ants on the table.

Practicing jemparingan with my family, with Pak Sapto coaching us, was such a great experience. There wasn’t an event while we were there, though, so no meals were available. We got hungry and also had to catch our train in Yogyakarta. I hope they promote this place more and hold more public events on weekends and during vacations. Best wishes to Pak Sapto and everyone working here. It was a great place to spend my last hour in the Borobudur area.

The staff are really friendly, and they offer free bicycles. Nice place for a reasonable price. I recommend it.
