The water running nearby, fresh air, and cool mornings made this a peaceful place to spend the Eid al-Fitr holiday. It’s in a green rural area, and we picked it because the price was very affordable. The rooms were fairly clean, though we had a small issue with the TV not connecting to the available channels. Service was quite good for an affordable inn, and breakfast was included. Could be a good choice if you’re staying in the Birobudur area.

A relaxing break from the city bustle, with a calm atmosphere and delicious food at affordable prices. Some of the facilities could use improvement, as a few weren’t working optimally.

We arrived at night and took the wrong way because we were following Google Maps. It was an unforgettable, really tense experience. The road was narrow, with steep ups and downs, and when a motorbike came by we had to pull over. There seemed to be no cars passing, or very few. If you’re coming from this direction, you should approach from the opposite direction, from below.

My worst hotel experience. There were gecko droppings and lots of stains on the bedcover when I first entered the room, but I let that go. The next morning, when I needed to use the toilet, there was no water. I didn’t want to clean myself with the Aqua water I’d bought the night before, and my wife needed the toilet too, so I didn’t want to fetch water from the downstairs tap in an Aqua bottle. I called, but nobody answered. Reception was empty, and nobody responded when I knocked. Incredible. After 20 minutes, the guard called, and I complained that the water was off. It came back on, but then at 10:00, while I was showering with soap suds on my body and shampoo still in my hair, it went off again. I left covered in suds and complained to the guard. The water came back on. Guys, think twice before staying here if you don’t want to be disappointed.
