It's right in the village, near Borobudur temple, about a five-minute walk away. The simple, humble homestay has two bedrooms and is very affordable for backpackers. There's no AC, though, so the heat might be uncomfortable for some.

Don't expect hotel standards, but the owner is wonderful, the best I've ever met. He can arrange tickets for Borobudur temple and help with whatever else you need, though it isn't free. A small tip could be a nice way to show appreciation.

Set in the middle of Borobudur village, the house has a traditional feel and was super clean and comfortable. The host was so nice. I'd definitely come back!

The greenery views were nice, and Borobudur temple was only about a 10-minute walk away. For just 10 dollars, the budget hostel or rooms are good value for backpackers. The owner was very, very helpful, and it felt like staying in my own house. ❤️ Borobudur
