We spent four nights at Le Temple Hotel while visiting Borobudur, and the caring, attentive staff made the stay feel personal and relaxing. The property sits among nature and has a calm, grounding feel. Our room was comfortable, and the food was delicious. The hotel arranged several activities for us: a jeep tour merapi, a private Yoga class, a cooking class, and a membatik session. Each was thoughtfully organized and added a lot to the stay. We also appreciated the hotel’s connection with the local community. We visited a nearby elementary school and were welcomed kindly. It’s a peaceful place with authentic hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and meaningful experiences. I’d highly recommend it for a quiet stay near Borobudur.

We had a bungalow with two bedrooms, one upstairs on the mezzanine and one on the ground level. The attention to detail stood out, and the food looked wonderful and tasted good. The small pool was beautiful, with matching jacuzzies at both ends. A larger resort area would have made it perfect for spending more time there. Welldone...

This was my second stay at Le Temple Borobudur, and it was wonderful again. The quiet, peaceful setting is ideal for relaxing away from the busy city. For my birthday, the hotel decorated the room with cute decorations and provided a cake and delicious desserts. Everything was arranged beautifully and tasted great, which made the celebration memorable. There were other lovely touches, too, including a complimentary room upgrade and very warm service. Management regularly checks that the hotel is clean and well maintained. The atmosphere feels exclusive, almost like a five-star resort, and it’s calming as well. I’d love to return.

We stayed at this hotel in December and were delighted by how warm, friendly, and attentive the staff were. They made us feel comfortable coming to them with any request, and the hospitality was outstanding. My son was especially happy and still talks about the waiters and the wonderful manager Kiki, who made the trip more memorable. We felt welcome and well looked after, and would highly recommend the hotel.

The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff made our short family visit easy with their helpful, friendly service. The rooms were comfortable and the atmosphere peaceful. Getting there is a little unusual, since the road is only wide enough for one vehicle. We’d happily return for another relaxing stay near Borobudur.
