The location and pool are the best things about it, and having hot water all the time was a bonus. Breakfast was 2/5. I got eaten by bedbugs in Room11. The mosque noise was muted, which helped me sleep.

The rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable, the shower is good, and breakfast was tasty. It's only a 3-4 minute walk to the temple entrance, along a quiet side street with no road noise. The pool would be lovely on a hot day, but it was chilly when I visited, so I didn't use it. The bathroom could have been cleaner, especially for the fairly high rack rate. It's a heritage building with little soundproofing, so expect the very noisy mosque behind the property to wake you at 4:30. To be honest, there are so many mosques in Borobudur village that I think noise is an issue for most hotels.

After leaving another horrible homestay, we really appreciated how kind and friendly everyone was here. The rooms were modern, lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the pool was a great place to relax. We had the best breakfast of our time in Indonesia. A really good stay, and we'd come back.
