The hotel was in soft opening, so there weren't many guests. That meant the pool was quiet and enjoyable, and my kids had fun there and with the kids' club activities. Breakfast was pretty good, with à la carte choices like pancakes and eggs. The downsides were limited restaurant choices at the hotel and a remote location, about 30 minutes by Grab from the main street. The staff were very friendly and quick to help. At check-in, my child needed the toilet, but the kids' club restroom was being maintained. The front desk kindly let us use a nearby room. Later, my child accidentally fell into the small pond in the lobby. Staff helped right away, brought towels, and opened a room again so we could change, since ours wasn't ready yet.

The staff made our family's stay at Novotel Ubud so memorable. We arrived at midnight and were still greeted with so much warmth and genuine care. We keep talking about how lovely everyone was. Breakfast was incredible, the best we've ever had. It was fresh, beautifully presented, and way beyond what we expected, especially since it was included. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful forest view that made the stay feel even more relaxing. We stayed about ten days ago, then moved to Sofitel for the next part of our trip. We kept comparing them and felt Novotel was better for service and food. We really appreciate everyone's effort and would love to return.

We spent seven wonderful nights here during the soft opening, and the service was exceptional. The staff across departments were lovely, dining was great, and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool was incredibly relaxing, with lots of daybeds and a huge jungle view. We also enjoyed the daily activities, especially yoga and the rice field trek. It's in Payangan, a village about 30 minutes from central Ubud, and Novotel provides a complimentary shuttle into the centre. Thanks to Dante, the guest services manager, for being so accommodating; Yoyok, the executive chef, for greeting us each day and checking that we were happy with our meals; and Dayu and Ardi for the daily yoga. The Reception, Hospitality, and Housekeeping teams were outstanding and made our week really memorable. We look forward to coming back.

A good way to get away from the city centre and see the quieter side of Ubud. The heated infinity pool is great for cooling off in all day. I'd recommend the restaurant too, with its good mix of local and international dishes and attentive service. There's a shuttle to meseum lukisan and the city centre, so you can walk around without the hassle of finding parking.

Cindy, Ayu, and Tama were incredibly kind and made the stay feel special. Ita was wonderful too, taking time to help us and play with the kids at the kids' centre. Their warmth and attentiveness really stood out. Thanks for such a pleasant stay at Novotel Ubud Bali! 😊
