Villa Atas Awan

We were 13 people and everything went smoothly. The staff made delicious breakfast each morning and helped arrange drivers for the roughly 40-minute trip to and from Ubud. Set in a lovely forest, away from the city's bustle, it’s a great place to relax with a group. Highly recommended if you’re traveling together.

Ibu Sri cooked delicious food every day, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was quiet, perfect for a relaxing break, and the swimming pool was huge and lovely. We’d like to come back next time.

We stayed as a group of eight in the two large villas. They’re beautiful wooden structures, set among lovely scenery and gardens, with a natural feel but still comfortable and convenient. The pool was nice too. It was a peaceful spot for quiet time and cozy conversations. Service was excellent, and Sri and the friendly, helpful staff looked after all our needs. Ubud center is about a 40-minute drive if you want more activity.

With seven rooms and plenty of space to gather, this place works well for a big or extended family, or a group of friends. We had a lovely stay among the paddy fields, with nature sounds at night. I spotted a tree frog, beetle, spider, and other creatures nearby. We chatted and had drinks together in the spacious gathering area, then cooled off in the lovely pool after my Batur sunrise hike. So refreshing.
