The hosts arranged a trek for us, and it was amazing. We also couldn’t have asked for a better place to begin our time in Sumatra. It’s a cosy, family-run homestay with caring hosts. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The jungle trek was a real highlight. Guide randy took us through some beautiful scenery, and the people at the stay were really kind and helpful. I had a very good stay in bukit lawang, and the room was nice too. I’d recommend it!

The one-night trek was intense, but absolutely worth it. The guides explained things along the way and clearly enjoy their work. They took us to spots with orangutans, birds, and other wildlife, and I felt relaxed knowing everything was under control. Back at the lodging, there’s a swimming area and places to unwind. The staff were friendly and looked after us the whole time 😊, and the restaurant served delicious, homemade-style food.

Jojo knew so much about the plants and animals, and we got to see orangutans and different kinds of monkeys up close. It made for an adventure I won’t forget. The guesthouse sits in a peaceful valley beside a river, surrounded by lush greenery and lovely views. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, and I felt at home right away. There were fun activities that left me with memories I’ll always treasure. A wonderful mix of nature, adventure, and time to relax.

The garden right by the river was such a nice place to rest, with full service and sometimes monkeys nearby. This lovely guesthouse is run by a local family who put a lot of care into everything, and our hosts did so much to make the stay special, especially for our daughter. The owner used to guide jungle trips and knows a lot about the local forest. They organized everything well and arranged really nice, experienced guides. Thank you so much!
