The breakfast and food were served on the 4th floor, but there wasn’t much choice at breakfast. I stayed for 2 nights and would give the hotel 2 stars. The room was quite small, with hardly enough space to pray, though a prayer mat and al-Quran were provided. In the bathroom there were only 2 sets of toothpaste and toothbrush, and the shower was faulty. It was also really hard to get an iron. I had to ask reception, and called 3 times at different times without much luck. They should have more irons available. The one they provided was a steam iron, but it was faulty and leaked water.

I enjoyed the early breakfast on the 4th floor, with its cool air and beautiful open space. On a clear day you can see Mount Marapi, and the view is amazing. The street peddlers were fun too, arriving early in the morning and late in the evening. We enjoyed browsing their goods and bargaining for good prices. The Wi-Fi was great, with a strong signal even in the rooms. The hotel's main advantage is its location, close to places of interest and shopping. The room was dirty, the divan had torn plastic covers and looked shabby, and we didn't dare use the dirty cups and saucers. Water dripped constantly from the leaking sink onto the floor, leaving it dirty and muddy. We stayed for 3 nights. Each morning before going on our tour, I reminded the staff to clean the room and fix the toilets, but nothing was done. When we got back at 5pm on the last day, the room still hadn't been cleaned. I had to call again to request cleaning and remind them about the leaking toilet. It was a really disappointing stay.

The rooms are new in design and very clean, and the hospitality was great. Breakfast was good, and you can ask the counter for a universal socket plug. There’s no iron. The hotel is close to Jam Gadang.

A cozy little hotel that’s just nice enough. The open-air café is on the 4th floor, with buskers playing contemporary tunes. The food was okay, though sometimes too sweet.

I really liked this hotel. The room was clean, the service was good, and there’s a cafeteria on the rooftop. It was reasonably priced too.
