Yani Homestay works really well for a brief stay before or after Mentawai, especially with the harbour so close. It's clean, has AC and TV if you want them, and is near plenty of food spots and an ATM. The manager was a big help when my travel plans changed and I needed to move my booking dates a couple of times. They also helped me book ferry tickets online when international cards weren't accepted. I've only got good things to say about this place. Thank you!

The listed price doesn't match what the cooking app charges, so you have to pay extra. The room is noisy at night and the service isn't good. It's expensive for what you get, with facilities like a boarding room. Basically, don't stay here.

The house is clean and comfortable, and all the rooms are nice. The water is fresh and the location is convenient, close to the Clock Tower 🤯🤩🤩. A really great place.
