Aquamarine Beach Villas

The beach was beautiful, with clear, calm water and a lively reef for snorkeling. I loved sitting in the garden by the beach bar and watching the waves. Villa Macondo was larger than we expected and even better than the photos. We spent lots of time taking in the tropical garden view, the infinity pool, and the sea. The kids, aged 7 and 10, loved the pool and open living space. With two children, it felt like a little piece of paradise. The place was peaceful and felt private, while the staff were kind, friendly, and attentive whenever we needed anything. They arranged boat trips, taxi transfers, massages by the waves, and laundry, all at what seemed like fair prices. The trattoria had delicious food and excellent pizzas, and breakfast delivered to the villa was a treat. The local restaurants are worth checking out too, and some offer complimentary transfers. We ate deliciously all week. After 8 months of research and planning, the trip far exceeded our expectations. It really is a magical place.

Our villa was beautiful and clean, and we loved having the pool. Breakfast was freshly made and brought to the villa every morning. My family and I were speechless for the whole trip. Aquamarine villas felt like the most magical place we've ever stayed, and the snorkeling was breathtaking. It felt as if we had a private beach right outside our villa. This might be the best place to stay in all of Amed, and you have everything you need in the complex. Highly recommend. We had a massage next to the ocean each day, which was so relaxing. It was my mum's Birthday, and when I asked, they brought a lovely cake, flowers, and wine to the villa. Couldn't have asked for more.

The beach right below the villa was the highlight for us: we spotted four turtles, plenty of fish and coral, and a Japanese shipwreck. The nearby restaurants were great too, including the warung next door and the Italian place. My partner and I spent six nights here in December 2025 and loved it. We already want to return. I’d recommend renting a scooter at reception and heading out to explore.

Breakfast and the other food were delicious, and the sunset cheers and floating breakfast options made for fun memories. The beach and views were stunning, and our room was very clean with thoughtful amenities. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We had an amazing stay at aquamarine villas and will be back!
