What really made the stay was how friendly every staff member was. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We spent three nights in an upstairs room with a great sea view and an outdoor area. There are lots of stairs, so it won't suit people with limited mobility. For what we paid, it was great value.

We had a lovely stay for my husband's birthday, and the rooms were amazing. The village below gets a bit noisy, especially with motorbikes, but it was interesting to watch.

The view over the mountain and sea was especially good in the morning, when the fishing boats came back. We stayed three nights and ate dinner at the hotel every evening. The food was good, better than the restaurants we tried nearby. The room was spacious; the building is old but kept in good shape, and the staff were professional and well trained. It's a little farther from Amed’s center, though the Japanese ship wreck snorkeling site is right across the road. Good value for money.

The bed was big and comfortable, and I slept really well. My room had amazing views of the hills and ocean. It was nice, with a very clean bathroom, shower and bathtub. Fantastic hotel, tasty food and very friendly staff. Amed is a place you should visit.

We loved the people and the place, though it may feel too quiet if you're after somewhere busier. Our family of two adults and two teenagers stayed five days at Baliku. The rooms were huge, clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the bay. Breakfast was included and made to order, which we liked much more than a standard continental buffet. Every lunch or dinner we tried at the restaurant was delicious. The snorkeling spot is just across the road, and staff can arrange a boat or diving trip if you ask.
