The apartment is nice and close to Ancol amusement park and beach. It used to flood easily during rainy periods when the tide was high, but that seems to have improved. The safety setup still seems ridiculous, though: even reception security couldn't get to the resident floors above.
The building team are friendly and responsive, the shared areas are clean, and it doesn't feel too crowded. There are two big towers, plus a very large pool and gym. It's cheaper than central Jakarta, but really remote, with no good restaurants, Indomaret, Family Mart, or mall nearby. The downstairs minimarket is crazy expensive, so avoid it. Laundry is also pricey because they charge per item, though there's another laundry contact by the parking area that charges by the kilo.
From our balcony, the night view was breathtaking. In the morning you can see the blue sea.
The buildings look beautiful, and the ocean view is good.
