Life in Amed Boutique Hotel

I did yoga each morning with either Luri or Meta, and it was absolutely brilliant. Luri also gave me the best massages of my life, truly unforgettable. Kadek and every other team member were incredibly helpful and kind, always attentive and ready to do more. The place was spotless, and the pool was a peaceful spot to unwind. Breakfast was amazing, honestly the best. Life Hotel is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed, with stunning boutique bungalows in a perfect beachfront location. The owner’s taste is impeccable, and every detail feels thoughtful and special. I loved everything and wouldn’t change a thing. If I could, I’d give Life 10 massive stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Thank you for making my stay perfect. I’ll 100% be back. x

Sunrise from the beach is quite spectacular. We were really happy with our stay at the perfumed villa. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean, with nice breakfast choices and excellent food. Snorkeling just outside in the coral garden was lovely, with healthy coral and lots of fish, which is a bit surprising given that it’s part of a working fishing community.

Amed felt like a living village while we were there, and Life in Amed made it easy to feel part of that rhythm rather than tucked away from it. Fishing boats were being hauled onto the beach each morning, and on our first night we arrived during a celebration for a child’s six-month anniversary, with music and ceremony continuing late. It felt open, generous, and real. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and beautiful, and we were very well cared for. But what stayed with me most was that the community carries on its daily life alongside tourism without losing itself. If you want a gated, separate resort, this probably isn’t for you, and perhaps neither is Amed. If you want to experience life in Amed somewhere that respects the local rhythms, Life in Amed is a great fit. P.S. Could you please post this on Google Reviews for Life in Amed? A calm, lovely place with the simple elegance of traditional Bali. The villas are basic but comfortable, there’s easy access for snorkelling, and the food is great. The yoga and massage studio is peaceful, with a view over the sea.
